A mild winter
Winter walking

It’s not without reason that our local area is affectionately known as the ‘Schneeloch’ (Snow Hole): our village of Grosslehen is situated in the snowiest region of Tyrol and offers the perfect conditions for atmospheric walks and hikes through secluded winter landscapes. Up to 100 km of winter walking trails await you in the Pillerseetal valley. Whether with or without snowshoes – here you can enjoy the soothing silence of winter. Perfectly groomed trails through the forests of Fieberbrunn offer endless opportunities to relax. Enjoy the chance to slow down and the tranquillity of the forest – here you can recharge your batteries.

The fun of tobogganing

right up to the bedroom door

The toboggan run starts right outside the hotel: take a leisurely walk up and then toboggan back down to Grosslehen. It’s particularly romantic in the evening, when the toboggan run is beautifully lit up until midnight.

The Grosslehen luxury: the toboggans are already waiting for you at the start.

Impossible to sink

Snowshoe hiking

The Pillerseetal is the region with the most snow in Austria, making it an ideal spot for snowshoe hikers. You can hike through the deep, glistening powder snow without sinking in. It’s a feeling of complete weightlessness.
