Weekly programme
At Farmhotel & Chalets Grosslehen, we invite you to become part of our world: authentic and close to nature. Our bespoke weekly programme not only brings you closer to the beauty of the surrounding area, but also to the people who make this place so special. Yoga in the meadow with Kathi, a torchlight walk with Bettina, a mountain bike tour with Markus or wine tastings with Hannah – a new experience awaits you every day.
In summer, explore the region on a mountain bike or enjoy some Tyrolean harp music.
There’s also a wide range of activities on offer in winter, such as walks and concerts.
- Parking: There are plenty of free parking spaces right outside our hotel.
- Electric vehicle charging points: You are welcome to use our electric vehicle charging points for a small fee.
- Wi-Fi: You can use our Wi-Fi free of charge throughout the hotel and chalet area.
- Shuttle service: We’d be happy to take you on our Grosslehen bus directly to the valley station of the Fieberbrunn mountain railway or to the railway station, so that you can catch the train from there to your chosen leisure destination.
- Hotel shop: Would you like to take a little piece of Grosslehen home with you? In our Grosslehen shop, you’ll find a selection of our own products as well as items from the Broste Copenhagen range to take home as souvenirs.
- Morning Post: Every morning, you’ll find our daily newsletter on your breakfast table or in your chalet’s postbox, featuring useful information about the current weather, tips for day trips and other helpful details from the Grosslehen team, as well as the evening menu.
- Grosslehen Farm: Would you like to get a glimpse of our farm? Come and visit our Scottish Highland cattle, Kunekune pigs, goats, ponies, donkeys and rabbits on the farm.
- Dog run: You’re welcome to use our dog run free of charge with your four-legged friend. Professional dog-sitting is also available for an additional charge.
- Bar: Our bar is located right next to reception, on the left-hand side of the à la carte restaurant. Round off an eventful day and enjoy a selection of gins, rums and whiskies, as well as fine wines from Austria.
Cuisine
- Breakfast: Please join us for breakfast between 7.30 am and 10.30 am. Our buffet features an organic corner, a tea bar, coffee, a selection of egg dishes, sausage and cheese specialities, a muesli bar, and fresh fruit and vegetable juices. The highlight for a perfect start to the day: our homemade farmhouse bread.
- Grosslehen Alpine Inn Cuisine: We treat you daily to seasonal and regional dishes, featuring produce from our own farm. Here you can choose from three evening set menus.
- Arrival: On the day of arrival, your room will be available from 2.00 pm.
- Grosslehen Welcome: Arrive and feel at home straight away. We’ll start by treating you to a refreshing drink and a little snack from our cottage garden – the perfect start to your holiday. It’s also the ideal time to tell you a bit about Grosslehen and the Pillerseetal region, if you’d like.
- Luggage: We’ll be happy to take your luggage to your room or help you carry your suitcases.
- Wellness bag: A wellness bag containing cosy bathrobes and sauna towels awaits you in every room.
Bath slippers: Please note that we do not include bath slippers in your wellness bag – for the sake of the environment. However, you can purchase slippers at reception.
- Departure: On the day of departure, we ask that you check out by 11:00. Should you wish to continue using your room after 11:00 on the day of departure, this is possible on request, subject to availability, for a day room rate of 50% of the list price.
- Arrival: On the day of arrival, your chalet will be available from 4.00 pm.
- Departure: On the day of departure, please check out by 10.00.
- Cleaning: Towels are changed and rubbish collected daily in your chalet. We also offer a mid-stay cleaning service.
- Meals: Whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner, as a chalet guest you can also enjoy the delights of our Grosslehen cuisine. Your options

- Extras: A range of complimentary amenities awaits you in your chalet to make your stay even more enjoyable: High-quality coffee beans from the Tridor roastery, organic Sonnentor teas, fresh spring water, firewood for the fireplace, Well & Life sauna infusions and a bottle of Grosslehen Rosé sparkling wine to welcome you.
- 4-star hotel: Of course, you’re also welcome to make use of all the facilities at the adjacent Farm Hotel: our Farm Spa, the weekly activity programme or the Grosslehen pub-style cuisine.
FARM SPA
- Opening hours: Our wellness area is open from 12:00 to 19:00 for you to enjoy a relaxing time.
- Wellness facilities: In our indoor spa area, you’ll find a Finnish sauna, a herbal panorama sauna, a steam room and a timber relaxation lounge. In the outdoor wellness area, you can look forward to a panoramic sunbathing lawn complete with fitness stations and our very own natural swimming pond.
- Massages: We’d be delighted to pamper you with massages and other spa treatments by prior arrangement. Our chalet guests can also enjoy this service in the comfort of their own chalet.
- Tea lounge: In our tea lounge with panoramic mountain views, you can enjoy organic Sonnentor teas, juices, nuts and fresh spring water, all available free of charge.
- Wellness bag: You’ll find cosy bathrobes and sauna towels in your room or chalet.
Summer
Cycling: Our local area is a real paradise for cycling enthusiasts. Whether it’s bike hire, a bike storage room or suggested routes – at Grosslehen you’ll find everything you need for a perfect cycling holiday.
Hiking: Maps, hiking tips and walking poles are available at our reception. We’re also happy to provide you with tour suggestions and other recommendations.
Swimming: The Pillerseetal valley is home to many beautiful lakes and rivers. Our natural swimming pond is also a great way to cool off.
Yoga & forest bathing: Every week, the Grosslehen offers you the chance to relax and recharge your batteries together as part of the hotel’s activity programme.
Winter
Ski service: Bei uns erwarten Sie ein Skikeller mit Skischuh-Heizung und ein täglicher Ski-Shuttle ins Skigebiet. Gerne organisieren wir für Sie auch die passende Skischule oder Leihausrüstung bei einem Skiverleih in der Nähe.
Ski pass service: In winter, you can purchase all standard ski passes directly from our reception.
Sledging, cross-country skiing, winter hiking: you can enjoy all these activities right on your doorstep in the winter wonderland of Grosslehen. Snow-covered forests and mountains invite you to enjoy the snow.
