Bike & Hike
Via the Burgeralm to the Kleberkopf
Combining hiking and mountain biking is becoming increasingly popular! Here’s one of our favourite routes:
The Tour
To begin with, set off on your mountain bike or e-bike directly from Grosslehen towards Hörndlinger Graben. After passing the Eiserne Hand inn, cross the bridge and you’ll soon be heading towards Burgeralm.
The route then climbs steadily through the forest and across pastureland up to the Alpengashof Burgeralm. Here you can park your bike, catch your breath and set off on foot from the inn towards the Kleberkopf!
From the Burgeralm, the path leads towards the Kleberkopf – a stunning summit offering views across the Tyrolean and Salzburg regions!
Grosslehen Tip
Be sure to pop into the Burgeralm afterwards! They serve a brilliant platter of snacks here after you’ve conquered the summit.
