The Weissach cross-country ski trail is situated on a picturesque high plateau just above the Hotel & Chalets Grosslehen. Here, a 9.4-kilometre trail awaits you, taking you through the unspoilt natural landscape of Tyrol. The trailhead is right next to our hotel.

Following in the footsteps of Dominik Landertinger, the world-class biathlete from the Pillerseetal valley, you can get a taste of biathlon in Hochfilzen and put your running and shooting skills to the test. In Hochfilzen, you can take part in these sessions every week and compete against other guests from the Pillerseetal valley.
Biathlon World Cup
Every year, one of the biggest sporting events in the Pillerseetal valley takes place in our neighbouring municipality of Hochfilzen: the BMW IBU Biathlon World Cup. This major event attracts countless visitors to the small town and offers exciting competitions, a fantastic programme of side events and a great atmosphere for young and old alike.
